Palo Santo is a fragrant wood that is used as a smudge stick for its purifying smoke. The wood comes from the genus Bursera (genus of COPAL, the Frankincense of the Americas), which grows from the southern edges of the United States to northern Argentina.
"The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future." Oscar Wilde
The sticks can be lit at an end, then blown out to use for smudging. They are long lasting and we leave ours in a beautiful abalone shell until its next use.
